Blog 2: Why did I chose to study public administration?

Hi everyone, in this blog I will tell you why I chose to study public administration.

Before deciding what I was going to study, I was a little confused, I just knew that I wanted something related to the humanities, and searching among the wide range of university careers I found public administration, and I liked that it was dynamic and that it mixed things from various disciplines, I was also very interested in understanding how power dynamics worked and how the State was structured, I also loved the idea of ​​being able to help people and, mainly for this reason, I decided to study public administration.

Currently I am very sure to continue studying and perfecting myself in everything related to the public function, being able to create public policies that respond to the needs and problems of the population, listen to social demands, and send them to the authorities so that decisions can be made about in a timely manner and finally generate public value.

I believe that the work of a public administrator is important because it can contribute to improving functions within the State, and above all contribute to having a better society.
