Blog 4: My favorite music artist

Hi everyone, in this blog I will talk about of my favorite music artist. She is Ashley Frangipane or also known as Halsey, which is an anagram of her name. 

She is North American and since she was little she liked music, she played the violin, viola, violoncello and acoustic guitar. When she was 18 she started singing in small concerts to earn a little money because her family had money problems. 

Her first musical album EP is Room 93 and later she released Badlands in 2015, with which she achieved more fame and it's my favorite album, I love all the songs, it's a mix between pop and indie music.

She currently has two more albums, Hopeless Fountain Kingdom from 2017 and Manic from 2020.

In addition, I don't only like Halsey for being a musically wonderful artist, but I also like her interest in issues that affect society, she is an activist for women's rights and the Black lives matter movement, because her father is Afro-American.

In summary, I like Halsey because her voice and style is very special and unique, her songs are great and I have been listening to them for years, besides she is a person who is interested in social problems. One of her performances that I like the most is the one from the Billboard Women in Music in 2016.
